Partnerships
Surety bonds, business insurance, payroll and HR.
One call gets you the right firm.
Tell us what you need. We make the introduction to a firm we already trust, you decide if it is a fit, and there is no fee to you for the introduction. A licensed partner does the work, and we stay in the loop.
Surety Bonds
01Bidding on city, county or state work? Most public jobs need a bond before you can be awarded the contract. On smaller jobs the application is about one page.
Placed by a licensed bonding agency we work with.
Business Insurance
02General liability, property, commercial auto, workers comp. The coverage that keeps one bad day from closing the doors.
Written by a licensed property and casualty agency we work with.
Payroll and HR
03Payroll processors and PEOs that take payroll, HR and compliance off your desk. Often the first place we look for savings.
Handled by the payroll and PEO firms we work with.
Group Health Benefits
04A real group health plan for your team, and a way to help pay for it. We often find the payroll tax savings that cover a better plan.
Placed by a licensed benefits broker. We handle the savings side.
Tax Strategy
05R&D credits, cost segregation on a building you own, entity and retirement plan design. Looking costs nothing, and most owners have never looked.
Run by tax strategists and CPAs we work with, alongside your own CPA.
Small Business Funding
06Lines of credit, equipment loans, SBA lending and working capital. The right lender for the size and stage you are at.
Arranged by business lenders and funding firms we work with.
Your clients are our clients. We just help them differently.
We do not work alone. The business owners we serve already have people they trust: a payroll company, an accountant, a benefits broker, an attorney. Those relationships took years to build, and we are not here to replace them. We are here to sit next to them.
When a business owner needs a bond, business insurance, a group health plan, a tax strategy or a loan, we send them to a firm we trust. When one of our partners has a client paying more payroll tax than they need to, they send them to us. Everybody keeps their client. Everybody looks good.
Who We Work With
The firms we partner with
These are the kinds of businesses already in our corner. If you run one of them, there is probably a client you and we could help together this month.
Run a benefits brokerage, payroll company or PEO? Here is how a partnership with us works.
Payroll Processors
You already see every dollar a business pays its people. That makes you the first to notice when payroll taxes are higher than they need to be.
PEOs
You carry the HR and the benefits for companies that cannot carry them alone. We add a layer that raises take-home pay without raising the bill.
CPAs and Accounting Firms
You file the return. We work on what the return will say next year, using code that is already on the books.
Tax Strategists
Same language, different seat. You build the structure, we handle the insurance and benefits pieces that sit inside it.
Health Benefits Brokers
You place the plan. We often find the money that pays for a better one, which makes your renewal conversation an easier one.
Attorneys
Business, tax and elder law. When a document needs drafting we send it to counsel, and when a plan needs funding counsel sends it back to us.
Estate Planning Firms
A trust that is never funded does not do anything. We handle the life insurance and annuity side that actually fills it.
Cyber Security Firms
You protect the business from what could happen. We protect the owner and the payroll from what will. Same buyer, same conversation.
Surety Bond Agencies
You bond the contractors bidding on public work. Every one of them runs payroll, and the bigger the crew, the more we can usually save them.
Property and Casualty Agencies
You write the business insurance. We do every line except yours, so our commercial referrals go to you and your life and benefits needs come to us.
Business Lenders and Funding Firms
You fund the growth. We help the owner keep more of what the growth earns, which makes the next loan easier to say yes to.
Bookkeepers and Fractional CFOs
You are in the numbers every month. You know before anyone else which owners are ready to be shown something better.
Business Brokers and M&A Advisors
Every sale creates a liquidity event and a tax problem. We work on both sides of the closing table with you.
How It Works
Four steps, no surprises
We meet and we are honest about fit
A short call. You tell us who you serve, we tell you what we do. If there is no overlap, we say so and you get your time back.
We each keep our own clients
No shared files, no shared fees unless we agree to one in writing. Your client stays your client. Ours stay ours.
We send work both directions
You hear about a business owner overpaying payroll tax. We hear about one who needs a bond, business insurance, a benefits plan, a loan, or an attorney. We both make the introduction.
We show up for your clients like they are ours
If you put your name on an introduction to us, we treat it that way. Education first, and we tell them when the answer is no.
The short answer
Ten Point Financial Group works alongside payroll processors, PEOs, health benefits brokers, P&C agencies, CPAs and bookkeepers. We do not replace what you do for a client. We handle the payroll tax and benefits side, and you keep the relationship you built. Our main program, ProfitGuard Plus, lowers a W-2 employer's payroll tax bill and raises employee take-home pay without changing gross pay. It is worth about $2,000 per employee per year in combined value. Referring a client takes one email. We keep you in the loop from the first conversation.
What partner firms ask us first
Will Ten Point try to take my client?
No. The business owners we serve already have people they trust, and those relationships took years to build. We are not here to replace them. When an owner asks us something outside what we do, we send them to a firm we trust. When one of your clients is paying more payroll tax than they need to, you send them to us. Everybody keeps their client.
I run a payroll company. Does this replace my payroll service?
No. ProfitGuard Plus runs on top of the payroll you already process. The employee's pre-tax Section 125 election lowers the wages subject to FICA, and that is where the employer's saving comes from. Ten Point coordinates the setup with the payroll provider, so your client is not doing it alone and you are not doing it alone either.
I am a health benefits broker. Does this replace the medical plan I sold them?
No, and it cannot. To take part, an employee has to have major medical coverage somewhere already: their own plan, a spouse's or parent's plan, Medicare, or a marketplace plan. The plan you sold is a requirement, not a competitor.
What does my client actually get?
About $2,000 per employee per year in combined value. About $600 of that is employer payroll tax savings, every payroll, going forward. About $1,400 of it is preventive care for the employee: telehealth, mental health support, care navigation, and chronic condition support. Each participating employee also takes home about $40 to $80 more per paycheck, with no change to gross pay.
Where does the money come from? This sounds too good.
It is not a new line on your client's budget. The value comes out of payroll taxes the business already pays. Nothing about gross compensation changes.
Is this legal, or is it one of the programs the IRS shut down?
It is built on four sections of the Internal Revenue Code that have been on the books for years: Section 125, Section 106(a), Section 105 with Treasury Reg 1.105-11, and Section 213(d). The programs the IRS went after did one of two things. They ran reimbursement back through the Section 125 cafeteria plan, which the IRS treats as double-dipping, or they reimbursed step counts, gym memberships and gift cards instead of real medical care. ProfitGuard Plus keeps reimbursement in a Self-Insured Medical Reimbursement Plan, separate from the cafeteria plan, and reimburses Section 213(d) medical care only. This is educational, not tax or legal advice.
Can I see the plan documents before I send a client?
Yes, and we want you to. The documents are written and reviewed by CPAs and ERISA attorneys before any plan goes live. Your review on behalf of your client is part of how this should work.
Which of my clients is a fit?
W-2 employers. Employees who take part are full-time, earning about $17,000 or more a year, and carrying major medical coverage somewhere. If you have a client with W-2 staff who is paying payroll tax every two weeks, that is the conversation.
How do I refer a client?
Email anthony@tenpointfg.com with the client's name, W-2 headcount, and payroll provider, or book a call. We educate the owner, model the real numbers on their payroll, and keep you in the loop from the first conversation.
What kinds of firms do you already work with?
Payroll processors, PEOs, CPAs and accounting firms, tax strategists, health benefits brokers, attorneys, estate planning firms, cyber security firms, bookkeepers and fractional CFOs, and business brokers. If your clients are business owners, there is probably one you and we could help together this month.
